We're Back!!!

Did you miss me? I missed you all. We made it back (barely, but that's another story) and while there we saw some beautiful sights.

We were smack dab in the middle of the desert in Arizona. The weather was beautiful at 75 degrees everyday!!! And I have to say the most beautiful Sunsets I have ever seen.

But I pose one question to you...do you have any idea how many different cactus there are in the desert? Because I did not. I thought maybe 2? 3? I mean the basic one you always see in the movies, books or TV. And did you know Cactus have flowers? They have seasons and flower during some of them.

So I grabbed my camera, and on a day when we had a few hours to ourselves, we snuck out to a National Park (which basically was the exact same desert we drove past but we paid $6 to park and see it) and grabbed some pictures to share with you all.

Our trip started off a little shaky, and everywhere we drove there are Cactus. They are seriously EVERYWHERE and they were all FLIPPING ME OFF!! I am serious...just look:

Tell me that doesn't look like a hand saying your screwed! Turn around and go home! LOL

This one we called a Thumb or Finger, can you tell why?

This thing? Tiny, but deadly...I'm just sayin...
I think someone was ovulating...DH of course said they looked like something else...hmmm..
And then there are plain straight ones that kept swaying in the wind and freaking me out they were gonna fall on us...

And last but not least...DH and I laughed for 10 minutes over this one...can you guess why?
